ON FRIDAY 16th January 2009 5 of them entered service for the 1st time on the 1 group of services(1-1A-1C)
All 12 in service by Sunday 18th January 2009
now that Stagecoach has been named as the prefered bidder for the sale of Eastbourne Buses although its not 100% signed and sealed, Eastbourne Buses looks like it will not be around for that much longer.

A walk on the malvern hills on a very nice day went up the Worcestershire Beacon the highest point in Worcestershire (so I have been told) took about 2 hours to get up and about an hour and ten minutes to get down
Well worth the climb the Views from the top are Magnificent
Another first time visit for me to this excellent museum in the black country, buses trams and trolleybuses on this page, I will be starting another page soon for the rest of this museum
My 1st visit to Warwick Castle a very good day indeed plenty going on here to keep everyone happy the only drawback is the admission charge £17.95 per adult seems a bit steep but there are various internet vouchers obtainable enableing you to get two for one entry
A lovely little village between Upton upon severn and the Malverns, a pub a general store/post office and a butchers but the post office is under threat of closure
Tewkesbury Gloucestershire Monday 18th August 2008 My first ever visit to Tewkesbury been close to it many times on the M5, Very impressed by the amount of old buildings and the Abbey
Summer holiday in August 2008 10 nights at the caravanning and camping club Blackmore site at Hanley Swan (near Upton upon Severn and the Malverns) Worcestershire
Very impressed with our new tent stayed dry inside all the time despite very heavy rain a lot of the time we were there
The tent is a Gelert Lokon Vario 6 (6 berth but more comfortable for about 4)

EARLY JANUARY 2009 CAME THE NEWS THAT CAVENDISH (NOT RENOWN) HAD BEEN BOUGHT BY STAGECOACH TO GO WITH ITS RECENT PURCHASE OF EASTBOURNE BUSES, SO IT IS NOT UNCOMMON NOW NOW TO SEE SPARE EASTBOURNE BUSES VEHICLES OPERATING ON CAVENDISH ROUTES, FROM EARLY MARCH 2009 THE CAVENDISH OPERATIONS WILL CEASE AND SOME OF THE FORMER CAVENDISH ROUTES WILL BE INCORPARATED IN THE NEW NETWORK OF EASTBOURNE ROUTES,UNDER THE NAME OF STAGECOACH IN EASTBOURNE
